The 2025 season marked the end of MotoE. In its seventh year, the electric championship shut up shop, handing over the baton to the arrival of the Baggers, which is the big news of 2026.
In all this, one wonders: what will the riders seen on the track in the last year of MotoE do next year?
Many of them will start again from the Superbike paddock, more precisely from Supersport. This is the case of defending champion Alessandro Zaccone, who found a place in Genesio Bevilacqua's Althea team, which will be entrusted with the Ducati V2. On the Italian bike we will also see Matteo Ferrari, the new signing of the WRP team with the Panigale.
For the Romagna rider there will be a double commitment, as he will also have the role of test rider for CF Moto.
Speaking of Supersport, among the riders on the grid we will also see Mattia Casadei, hired by Davide Giugliano's team as a replacement for Federico Caricasulo, who has gone to Evan Bros.
Among those riders involved in MotoE this year, there will be a great opportunity in 2026 for Lorenzo Baldassarri. In fact, the Marche rider will be Go Eleven's new signing in Superbike, picking up the baton from Andrea Iannone on the Ducati V4.
One rider who is destined instead to return to his homeland is Eric Granado, who will most likely be at the start of the Brazilian Superbike Championship with a Honda. In CIV, however, we will find Nicholas Spinelli once again, as well as Andrea Mantovani and Kevin Zannoni. Also keeping him company will be Alessio Finello, close to signing with Michele Pirro's team.
Still to be defined, instead, is the future of Luca Bernardi as well as that of Raffaele Fusco. Finally, as far as Maria Herrera is concerned, her presence in the Women's World Championship is confirmed, but with a new guise, namely that of the GRT team.
