MotoE: Luca Bernardi arrives in MotoE with Aruba in 2025

The MotoE grid is getting more and more defined, and today we had some more news: Luca Bernardi will be the new rider of the Aruba team riding the Ducati, sharing the box with Alessandro Zacccone in 2025.

Finally, the structure headed by Stefano Cecconi decided to renew, following the farewells by Chaz Davies and Armando Pontone.

Following is the team's statement.

The Aruba Cloud team is pleased to announce the signing of Luca Bernardi, who will be Alessandro Zaccone's teammate in the 2025 FIM MotoE World Championship season. Born in San Marino on August 29, 2001, Luca Bernardi is a two-time Italian Champion first in the Supersport 300 class in 2017 then in the Supersport 600 class in 2020.

His consistent experience in the WorldSBK paddock also began in 2017 when he made his debut in the Supersport 300 Championship, contesting 10 races. In 2021, he participated in the World Supersport Championship, winning 5 podiums and a pole position. In the following season the arrival in Superbike with the Barni Racing Team ending the season with 35 points in total.

Satisfaction was expressed by Stefano Cecconi: "We believe in Luca's talent and we are sure that he can grow quickly in his first season in MotoE thanks to the support of the whole team and being able to compare himself with the experience of his teammate Alessandro Zaccone in this particular category. It will be important to take constant steps forward to reach the level we aspire to as soon as possible."

Echoing his words was the rider himself: "I am very happy to join the Aruba family and I am sure I will be able to integrate well immediately into this new team. It will be a new adventure for me with a new bike and new tires but I will immediately try to do my best to find a good feeling. I consider it a learning season to grow and understand the category while still trying to have fun and get important results."
