MotoE, 4th place finish in Race 1 enough for Hector Garzo to clinch world championship

Mattia Casadei's victory ahead of Alessandro Zaccone and Eric Granado didn't stop Hector Garzo from securing the world championship in the electric category.

In fact, a fourth place was enough for the Dynavolt team rider to end games ahead of the LCR team rider. Matteo Ferrari came in 6th behind Jordi Torres, Spinelli 9th, Mantovani 10th, Finello 12th, Manfredi 13th, and Pontone 16th.

The only woman on the track, Maria Herrera, came in 14th, with the satisfaction of preceding none other than Chaz Davies.
