In just ten days, the Superbike will be back on track for two test days scheduled in Barcelona on March 14th and 15th. All the teams will be there, along with Ducati and Michele Pirro.
The test rider from Puglia will be busy with the team’s Panigale V4, as he aims to work on development while waiting for the Spanish round. Given his experience, one of the aspects to deal with will be the tank capacity, which has been reduced to 21 liters. Also, 40% of the fuel used must be non-fossil, in order to increase sustainability within the paddock.
Along with this is the topic related to the chassis and the new softer tires brought by Pirelli for the rest of the season.
Apparently, there's no shortage of work for Pirro, who’s currently waiting for news about Franco Morbidelli’s health. They hope the doctors will allow the Pramac rider to race in the Qatar GP. If not, Michele will be ready to replace him, like did during the winter tests.
