MotoGP: Reconstruction work on the Valencia circuit has officially begun

Three months after the flooding that hit Valencia and the surrounding areas, reconstruction work has begun on the Ricardo Tormo circuit, which was not immune from the passage of Storm Dana particularly in the area of the parking lots, the main entrance and the minimoto track.

Barring any surprises, therefore, there should be no problems for the 2025 edition of the MotoGP World Championship scheduled for November 16. According to information from the track's official website, Cheste Mayor Jose Morell went to the site to check on the progress of the work commissioned to the Ministry of Infrastructure, which includes, among other things, the construction of a bridge.

"The reconstruction began only two weeks ago from the topographical aspects and then immediately became effective with the arrival of the machinery. Very soon, therefore, progress will be evident," the note reads.

The Mayor then reiterated the importance of the track for the area and especially for its coffers, thanking all the members of the motorsport community who have gone out of their way to help the town, starting with MotoGP itself, which, thanks to the donations made, will enable the reconstruction of the town's multi-sports center to go ahead.

Finally, the communiqué specified that the construction site will not prevent access to the racetrack, which will continue to operate through the alternative entrance set up since last December 5 to enable normal activity to continue.
