MotoGP, Morbidelli: "It was frustrating to hear the other VR46 riders talk about Ducati"

Only Morbidelli was missing to complete the full house and now it's done; with Franco in the Pramac team, next year all four VR46 riders in MotoGP will be riding a Ducati. For the Italian-Brazilian it is a golden opportunity because it means leaving behind all the problems with the Yamaha to get on the bike of every rider's dreams.

“First of all, I have to thank Paolo Campinoti for this opportunity, then all the people at Ducati, Gianluca (Falcioni, the manager of VR46, ed.) and VR46 – was Franco's list - I hoped that this opportunity would arrive, and we worked to make it happen, now we can announce it. It's a great feeling after 2 complicated years, it will be nice to get on the best bike of the grid and show what I'm capable of."

He will be in good company, with Bagnaia, Bezzecchi and Marini who will be able to give him some advice on the Desmosedici.

“I was the only one who rode a Yamaha, now that we are all together and it will be a further opportunity to challenge each other - continued Morbidelli - When we spoke to each other, it was difficult to feel that their bike was so different from mine, sometimes it was frustrating. Next year we can talk about the same things."

Franco will definitely do that...

“I will ask them a lot of questions and I will try to learn as quickly as possible to be competitive on the new bike” is the goal.
