Marco Bezzecchi: "What a blow... time to take care of my aches and pains"

Marco Bezzecchi was able to leave the Netherlands and return home last night after the tests he underwent at the hospital in Groningen came back negative. It’s almost a miracle that the Aprilia rider got off with only minor injuries after a fall at nearly 200 km/h during the Assen GP.

Today, the Bez posted a few words on his social media accounts to reassure his fans. “What a fall yesterday… time to take care of my aches and pains. We’re not giving up! Thanks to everyone for the support!

Now Marco will have a few days of rest to recover from that fall before flying to the Sachsenring, the final Grand Prix before the summer break. For the first time this year, he’ll start the weekend not leading the championship, a position that's now held by his teammate Jorge Martin.
