Johann Zarco was discharged this afternoon from the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya, where he had been admitted yesterday following the crash he was involved in during the Barcelona GP. The LCR team rider is heading to France, where he will be examined tomorrow in Lyon by Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet. The specialist will assess his condition and determine the best course of action for his full recovery.
As a reminder, Johann suffered injuries to his anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments and medial meniscus, as well as a small fracture in his left ankle.
