After announcing the end of its partnership with Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins at the end of this season, Yamaha has revealed the lineup it will field for the 2027 and 2028 MotoGP seasons, announcing the addition of Jorge Martín and Ai Ogura to the team.
These two talented riders are set to help Yamaha pursue its long-term ambitions in what will be a new technical era for MotoGP, with the introduction of new regulations starting in 2027.
A MotoGP World Champion and winner of numerous Grand Prix races, Jorge Martín joins Yamaha as one of the leading riders in modern MotoGP. Meanwhile, rising star Ogura represents the future of both Yamaha and MotoGP, having quickly established himself as one of the most promising young riders in the championship. These two complementary riders will aim to restore the Iwata-based manufacturer to the top after the challenges of recent seasons.
