The first aerodynamic innovations are beginning to appear, and the Borgo Panigale manufacturer has been working hard on its fairing: sleeker forms and larger wings.

Despite the fact that reporters aren't allowed to enter the pit lane during the Shakedown (even if the ban doesn't apply to Dorna's operators), correspondents still manage to catch a glimpse of what's going on behind the scenes. That's why they're able to show you this photo of Ducati's new aerodynamic evolution, brought to the track today by Michele Pirro.

They've been working extensively on the front of the bike at Borgo Panigale. Although the photo was taken from above and, therefore, the perspective is a bit misleading, you can see how the two front wings have grown in size and how the lines of the upper part of the fairing have also changed.

It's now more squared and tapered, almost like an arrow. Also, the shape of the airbox opening is also different. In recent years, the air intake had become increasingly horizontal, and this is a further evolution in that direction.

The engineers at Borgo Panigale also worked on the side of the fairing: the lower deflector seems to have increased in size, as does the side wing, which runs along the entire side.
