MotoGP: Domenicali: "For Marquez, winning with Ducati was a natural process."

Today, Marc Marquez became world champion in Motegi. For Ducati, it's the 4th consecutive Riders Championship title after Bagnaia's in 2022 and 2023 and Martin's in 2024. The new crown is an addition to the Constructors Championship title that was already won: the 6th in a row, in this case. These are impressive numbers that Claudio Domenicali, Ducati's CEO, can't help but celebrate with pride.

"The story continues, and what an incredible story we're writing! We're world champions for the fourth consecutive year, proving that when talent, skills, and dedication come together, the line between possible and extraordinary disappears. It may all look easy on the track, especially when the results come consistently, but behind every success is relentless teamwork. Months of planning and simulations, hours devoted to data analysis, engine changes calibrated to the smallest detail, race strategies studied with precision. All this remains invisible to those watching, but it's behind the scenes that we build a victory. It's there that every small detail makes the difference and becomes the determining element that allows a champion to express his or her best on the track," he said, in celebration.

Of course, Domenicali doesn't forget the hero: Marquez.

"With Marc, this process was natural. He was immediately in tune with the Desmosedici GP," he said. "From the very first race, he confirmed what we expected from him and, in many cases, he even exceeded our own predictions, showing how an extraordinary talent like his and the meticulous work of a passionate and competent team like ours can empower each other."

The icing on the cake was Bagnaia winning the GP.

"What made this weekend even more special was Pecco's performance, winner in both the sprint and Sunday's race. Seeing his smile and, at the same time, being able to celebrate the riders title, is an image that will remain in our memories for a long time, and demonstrates the strength of all of Ducati more than any sords can," Domenicali comented. "To all the women and men of Ducati Corse, I want to say thank you. Once again, we've done it, together. A gear that only works if each element gives it its all and, today, it's turning at maximum output, with Gigi Dall'Igna coordinating and inspiring its every move. Special thanks go to Lenovo and to our partners and suppliers. Their contributions make it possible to achieve milestones of this level. Last year, I promised the Ducatistas that we wouldn't settle, that we would keep working to win again... and, today, we proved that our passion and commitment are not words, but concrete results that always put us one step ahead."
