Marco Bezzecchi ended his Saturday in the infirmary after being knocked down by Fermin Aldeguer in the Sprint. Fortunately, fractures were ruled out, and the Aprilia rider only bruised his left forearm and hip. He'll be able to race tomorrow.
Bezzecchi gave an update on his condition: "Fortunately, everything is okay. There's nothing broken. I only have a bit of pain in my left arm and leg and, for tomorrow, everything's okay. The Sprint wasn't going badly. I had a good pace and was managing the tires well, trying to recuperate. It was a normal race accident. Fermin didn't do anything crazy."
However, the Stewards decided to penalize Aldeguer with a Long Lap in tomorrow's race. The same penalty was also given to Franco Morbidelli who involved Jorge Martin in his fall.
Joan Mir will also have to serve a penalty: three positions behind on the grid for having hindered Martin by proceeding slowly on the trajectory at Turn 5 during the Q1.
