Toprak Razgatlioglu's arrival in MotoGP with Yamaha and the Pramac team next year has unleashed the fandom, between those who are betting on the Turk in the premier class and those who have more doubts. It's not just 'normal' fans who are talking about the news, but also champions like Jorge Lorenzo, who has tied much of his career to the Iwata-based manufacturer.
The Mallorcan is happy that Toprak can put himself to the test in MotoGP: "Wow! That's an awesome news for all the MotoGP enthusiasts we all like to read," he commented on his Instagram profile.
Lorenzo, however, has some doubts about whether the Yamaha is the best bike for the Turk.
"Even though I think his riding style would suit better for Ducati or even Honda, I'm sure with patience and time Toprak will be successful in MotoGP as well. His talent and braking skills are undeniable," read the note from Jorge, who concluded by congratulating the rider, the Pramac team and Yamaha on the deal.
