MotoGP: Aldeguer successfully operated on right arm and left hand

Having finished the collective tests at the Aragon circuit, instead of returning home to rest Fermin Aldeguer left for Barcelona to undergo two surgeries: one on his right arm to resolve the compartmental syndrome that almost by default affects all motorcycle riders, and the other on his left hand to remove a pin that had been inserted to stabilize an old injury to the fifth metacarpal suffered in 2024 in Thailand when he raced in Moto2.

Both operations performed by Dr. Xavier Mir at the Dexeus clinic were successful, and proving it is a photo that the Spanish rider and Gresini Racing wanted to share on Instagram.

According to reports, the 20-year-old is not expected to miss the next round of the championship scheduled for Mugello in two weeks. To have a definitive response, we will still have to wait for the classic ritual checkup at the Italian track's clinic just on the eve of the return to action.
