Miguel Oliveira won't be there! It's not yet official but, according to what has been learned, the Portuguese rider won't be present at the start of the Qatar GP, which is scheduled for next week. Unfortunately, his health condition won't allow him to get back on the bike after his accident in Argentina. Consequently, he'll be forced to raise the white flag.
So Yamaha immediately ran for cover, calling back Augusto Fernandez. After filling in for him in Texas last weekend, we'll be seeing Fernandez back on the M1 for the Qatar night race wearing the Pramac colors.
This is a second chance for the former KTM rider, who has become a test rider for Yamaha starting this year.
