Marc Marquez
Win Took his second Sprint win along with Aragon last year. He will now be aiming to win the opening Grand Prix of the season for the first time since 2014 and to take his third win at Buriram (along with 2018 and 2019). Could equal Dani Pedrosa on MotoGP podiums. It would be his 112th MotoGP podium, sharing third overall with Pedrosa on the all-time list. This is the first time Marquez is leading the Championship since Valencia in 2019.

Alex Marquez
P2 Finished P2 for his first Sprint podium since he took the win in Malaysia in 2023. He will be aiming to take his maiden MotoGP win on Sunday.
Francesco Bagnaia
P3 Finished P3 in the Sprint and will now aim to take his 30th MotoGP win, just one less than MotoGP Legends Dani Pedrosa and Eddie Lawson.
Ai Ogura
P4 Finished P4 as the top rookie and top Aprilia. On Sunday, he will be aiming to become the first rookie to take a podium on his MotoGP debut since Marc Marquez (P3, Qatar 2013). He would also be the first Japanese rider to take a podium since Katsuyuki Nakasuga, P2 in Valencia 2012.
Franco Morbidelli
P5 finished P5 for his best Sprint result since he was also P5 in Australia last year. He will be aiming to stand on the podium for the first time since Jerez in 2021 (P3).
Pedro Acosta
P6 Finished P6 as the top KTM rider, which is his best Sprint result since he was also P6 in Indonesia last year. He took his most recent podium here last year, finishing third.
Fabio Quartararo
P7 Finished P7, scoring his first Sprint points at Buriram.
Joan Mir
P9 has finished P9, scoring in a Sprint for the second time along with Jerez last year when he also finished P9. If he finishes in the top four he could take his best GP result with Honda on Sunday. His current best result is P5 in India 2023.
All five factories are in the points for the first time in a Sprint since Jerez last year.
