What happens when you put today's champions on yesterday's bikes? You get huge smiles. That's what Yamaha did in Jerez, rounding up its riders and bringing out of the museum the Grand Prix 2-stroke bikes from a few years ago.
Valentino Rossi and Luca Cadalora - both who raced and even won on those bikes - were present, but there were also many others who had never ridden them before, like Jonathan Rea, Niccolò Canepa, and Andrea Locatelli. Even though they had to ride them with proper care, they all fell in love with the 500s and 750s ... as soon as they touched the gas.
