Nine World Championships, 115 victories, and 235 podiums in all classes speak for themselves for the legend. But the real story is how Valentino Rossi transformed the sport off the track. Rossi won the 2006 Laureus Spirit of Sport Award, the 2011 Laureus World Comeback of the Year Award, and the 2022 Laureus Sports Icon Award. In November 2021, he was inducted into MotoGP's Hall of Fame.


Valentino Rossi had a significant impact on Grand Prix motorcycle racing. During 26 historic seasons of competition, the Italian won people's hearts worldwide and set numerous records that sports betting fans loved. His charisma, creativity, and tremendous ability elevated the sport to unprecedented heights.


Despite his retirement from Grand Prix racing, Rossi is still building a reputation for himself in the business sector. In January 2022, he signed up to pilot a Team WRT Audi R8 in endurance and sprint races for the GT World Challenge Europe. Now he is an official driver for BMW.

Being the founder of a Grand Prix motorcycle racing team in 2014, Rossi was interested in the sport. Also, he operates the VR46 Riders Academy, where well-known teachers from several motorcycle racing disciplines teach potential world champions. In 2023, Rossi's half-brother Luca Marini will ride for the Mooney VR46 Racing Team in Moto 2 on a Kalex chassis and MotoGP on Ducatis.

The Unveiling

The triumphs of the VR46 Academy riders have added to Valentino Rossi's reputation in motorcycle racing, alongside his MotoGP titles and victories.

The Mooney VR46 Racing Team is prepared to take off and offer ideals such as perfection, innovation, skill, and Italian fervor to races across the globe. The connection between Mooney and the VR46 Racing Team has already generated numerous consumer and commercial activations. The objective is to provide a rising number of consumers with sophisticated banking, payment, and mobility services through various strategies.

Valentino Rossi, the Mooney VR46 Racing Team owner, believes that 2023 will be a successful year. "We moved up to MotoGP last year after several years in Moto3 and Moto2, and it was a terrific season. Despite being a new team, we moved quickly. The boys performed admirably and battled for the podium and first place multiple times."

Team Director Alessio Salucci and Team Manager Pablo Nieto are in charge. On the other hand, Team Owner Valentino Rossi keeps tabs on everything to ensure the system is flawless. A technically superior Superbike featuring Ducati's Made in Italy logo will be their ride.

After assisting Luca Marini's part of the Avintia garage in 2021, Ducati's satellite squad VR46 entered MotoGP in 2022. "I am quite pleased with the off-season. The bike is quick and competitive, and I adore its new all-black appearance, "said Luca Marini. "I believe we are about there. We are pleased with the speed of the race in Malaysia and the simulation of a flying lap."

As depicted in a short film broadcast on the Team's social media channels, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, two of the most promising young riders in the Italian nursery, have an enthusiastic crew and the capacity to engage fans from all over the world had a successful debut season.

The first season of VR46 with Marini and youngster Marco Bezzecchi was successful. Bezzecchi claimed the podium at the Netherlands TT and the pole position in the Thailand GP while riding a 2021 Ducati.

The Livery

The orange and yellow stripes on a black background have remained essentially unchanged. The new sprint race and weekend formula will make 2023 a real spectacle, reflected in the new graphic layout created and produced by the VR46 graphics department. A style that honors the past, using pure black for formal occasions. The contrast between Team's bright yellow and Mooney's earthy yellow creates a rock-inspired equilibrium.

The new style delighted Marco Bezzecchi. "I like the bike from last year, but we added a gear to the all-black model! I enjoyed the testing sessions. I could tell the new bike was different, and it made me feel terrific. The link with the gas is the clearest compared to the previous bike, followed by the aerodynamic package."

The Team Director, Alessio Salucci, stated, "We're leaving behind a challenging year that brought us much satisfaction, but we're ready for the next."

The season begins with the Portuguese Grand Prix on March 26, 2023.
