MotoGP: Miller: “Lucy Crutchlow will be happy not to have Cal around for a while”

This weekend, Jack Miller will get to see his old LCR Honda teammate, Cal Crutchlow.  They’re good friends, and neither one knows how to mince words.

Yes, I got my friend Cal back. But, in return, we lost another friend, Dovi,” the 27-year-old rider from Australia said. “Dovizioso is a guy I’ve admired for a long time. He’s always been open and honest. We’ll certainly miss him. I consider him a good friend, also because we’ve done motocross together lots of times. And then he’s an honest man. When I won last year, he was always one of the first to send me a message to congratulate me. There aren’t many like him nowadays. If he says ‘I’m happy for you’, he really is happy. He’s old school.

When it comes to Cal, Jackass couldn’t help but make a joke.

I’m pleased I’ll get to see Cal on the track riding the Yamaha for the rest of the championship. I think his wife Lucy will be happy to see him out of the house for a while.
