Andrea Iannone: Australian GP also at risk

"Along my way I've experienced many sensations: from fear to happiness, from pain to joy, but I've never felt like this before! Like an eagle with its wings tied, like a lion in a cage!

I've always been used to earning things, to deciding, to fighting, to risking.. but now it's difference. Now, unfortunately, all I can do is wait. It's devastating!

I miss those weekend  rituals: the sounds, the people, my team, my bike, my work. I also miss that normality that I never get tired of, that lets me wake up happy each day and live each moment at 350/hour.
I miss riding; my greatest passion, my greatest treasure... my only true reason for living!
We'll see each other soon because I can't do this!"

The thoughts and words of Andrea Iannone. He turned to Facebook to share his frustrations of having to stay home while his colleagues race.

From what he says, you might have the impression that 'the Maniac' already has one foot on the plane to Australia, and Phillip Island where the next race takes place next week but no, on the contrary that GP is also at risk.

The rumour going round at Motegi is that he'll only be back for Sepang, in Malaysia. The fractured vertebra is not yet fully united but you cannot say Iannone hasn't tried, wanting to race at Misano and showing up as usual for free practice at Aragon.
For now nothing has been officially confirmed but it seems that Michele Pirro is already been alerted and is ready to leave for Phillip Island if necessary.
