MotoGP: Rins leaves hospital: “After 16 days and 2 surgeries, I’m going home”

Alex Rins’ time in the hospital is over. After breaking his tibia and fibula at Mugello, he underwent surgery  the first time in Italy and then in Spain to stabilize the fractures. Over two weeks in the ward are now just a memory.

It was the LCR team rider himself who updated his condition through his social profiles: “After 16 days and 2 surgeries, I’m going home! These images explain the severity of the fall and the amazing work the doctors did. It was tough, but I’ll come back stronger, mentally and physically. Thank you all for your messages and for taking good care of me!” he commented.
