In a video posted on his social media profile, the French rider reported that he has no fractures in his femur; rather, it was the ligaments in his knee that gave way, along with "a minor fracture in the lower part of the fibula, on the outside of the left ankle". The LCR rider finally announced that he will spend the night under observation at the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya in Sant Cugat.
