MotoGP: Fermin Aldeguer will try to race in the Brazilian Grand Prix

Fermin Aldeguer is ready to kick off his season in Brazil. The Gresini team rider was involved in a crash on January 9 and broke his femur. As a result, he was forced to miss not only all the winter tests but also the first Grand Prix in Thailand, where he was replaced by Michele Pirro. In fact, doctors had advised him to wait before returning to racing.

Now the time seems to have come, and in recent days, Fermin has put his physical condition to the test by training on the Ducati Panigale V2. The results appear to be positive, and Aldeguer will fly to Goiânia, where the circuit doctors will have the final say. In fact, they will be the ones to give him the final green light on Thursday.

For the Spaniard from Gresini, 2026 will therefore begin in the race, and he will have to make up for lost time without taking too many risks, given that he is coming off the back of a serious injury.
