On January 13 in Siena, at the unveiling of the new Yamaha, we will see him for the first time in the guise of the Prima Pramac team rider, but more importantly, as a MotoGP rider after an early part of his career among the factory derived Superbike championship. In the meantime, Toprak Razgatlioglu, instead of getting down to some training on the bike as several of his colleagues are already doing, has preferred to convert to song.
In the recent December 31 episode of "O Ses Türkiye," the Turkish version of The Voice, the reigning SBK champion racer in fact was able to reach peak performance this time on the microphone, leaving the judges speechless.
After proving that he can also do well as a singing artist, the 29-year-old nevertheless confided in what he hopes for himself in 2026, not hiding his wishes. "I hope it will be a year when everyone can achieve their goals and make their dreams come true. We all have them. I myself would like to be world champion again," were his very words as reported by the website Motosan.es.
Accustomed to these off-track appearances having in the past participated in the "Yeteneksizsiniz" program in the company of his father, the Turk admitted that he doesn't yet feel the pressure of the onerous commitment that awaits him starting with the shakedown test scheduled at the Sepang circuit between January 29 and 31.
"Honestly, racing doesn't stress me out. Maybe because I practice the sport I like. If I were asked to get on a motorcycle now, I could race with no problem," he revealed.
Despite the apparent relaxation with which he took to the TV appearance, the former BMW rider admitted that he was struggling to perform: "Doing this is really very difficult," he commented.
