A bitter start in Portimao for Raul Fernandez. When there were 17 minutes left to the end of FP1, the Trackhouse bearer in fact ended up on the ground in turn 1, ending the morning session ahead of time. After a brief consultation with the circuit doctors, it was decided to transport the Spanish rider to the Hospital located near the Algarve track.
Fernandez will in fact undergo a CT scan in order to better understand is the picture of the situation. We therefore remain waiting for updates with the hope of finding the Iberian back on track this afternoon during FP2.
Meanwhile, in the morning, the fastest turned out to be Alex Marquez on the Ducati.
A big one for @25RaulFernandez at Turn 1.
