Valentino Rossi'snamealways arouses much interestalthough his successes in MotoGP are long gone. It is therefore not surprising that even the BMW M4 GT3 he drove on several occasions and with which he won numerous races was sold for an insane amount of money.

Having retired from MotoGP at the end of 2021 to devote himself to four wheels, his other passion, since 2024 the Doctor has been defending the colors of the German brand in the World Endurance Championship.

And it is precisely the first car used by the nine-time motorcycle world champion at the 24 Hours of Le Mans that will be the protagonist of an auction organized by RM Sotheby's in Munich on October 18.

Offered directly by BMW M Motorsport, it was in the hands of the Pesaro-born driver in 2023 when he competed in the GT World Challenge Europe, then in the 2024 Road to Le Mans, won by the 46-year-old himself, in the same year's Spa 24 Hours and the more recent Bathurst 12 Hours.

His achievements behind the wheel include podiums at Brands Hatch and Zandvoort in 2023, second and third places in Qatar and Fuji, respectively, in the following championship, as well as a second-place finish last February in Australia.

The 22-046-chassis example, currently valued between 435,000 and 485,000 euros, has taken part in 27 races in total and boasts a special livery designed by German artist Walter Maurer for the Australian round of the WEC.
