Six Hours of Imola, second round of the World Endurance Championship: After starting from pole, Valentino Rossi made contact with the Vista AF Corse Ferrari in the fight for first position. In the contact that occurred at 3h45' Valentino, in corner entry in contention with Simon Mann, hit the #21 AF Corse Ferrari at Rivazza 2 sending it into the wall just as the two were fighting for the lead in the LMGT3 Class. Rossi then received a Stop&Go as a penalty, and had to give way to the Lexux #78.
