Idemitsu Honda LCR team rider Somkiat Chantra won't be participating in the French Grand Prix as he continues his recovery after surgery, performed on April 30th to solve his compartment syndrome problem.
After a post-op check-up, Dr. Xavier Mir, who performed the surgery, recommended that Somkiat take more time to recuperate his strength before returning to racing. Although his rehabilitation is progressing well, he's not in racing condition, yet.
