Miguel Oliveira will not race at Jerez either, following the doctors' recent evaluation of the Portuguese rider's left shoulder. The Pramac rider was halted by a sternoclavicular dislocation suffered in a crash in the Sprint Race of the Argentine GP. Despite the progress made in recovering from the injury, Oliveira has not yet been deemed ready to return to racing and will have to continue with his shoulder rehabilitation.
As announced this morning by the Pramac Racing team, it will be Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernandez who will ride Miguel's M1 in the Spanish GP, scheduled for this weekend. For the Spaniard, this will be the third consecutive event as a replacement for the Portuguese, who he already replaced in the Qatar and American Grands Prix.
