MotoGP, BREAKING NEWS - Mir struck down by gastroenteritis, withdraws from the Sprint in Qatar

Joan Mir has been forced to withdraw from the Sprint race scheduled for today in Qatar. The rider of the official Honda team was struck down by a gastroenteritis that debilitated him and will not allow him to participate in the short race. However, the Spaniard did manage to take part in qualifying, albeit in pain, and in fact concluded it in second to last position, with the 21st time, ahead of only Chantra.
