MotoGP: Valentino Rossi turns into a painting made out of garbage

It's called "Scart, the beautiful and useful side of waste," and it's an exhibition that sees waste from different sources transformed into statues and portraits of sports personalities of particular significance to Italy and beyond.

The exhibition, which was organized by Marche Multiservizi (Hera Group), in co-partnership with the Academies of Fine Arts of Florence, Ravenna and Rimini, will be on view until April 22 in the Sala Laurana of Palazzo Ducale in Pesaro, the seat of the Prefecture.

Twenty-nine works of art made on 1:1 scale using buttons, leather, zippers and pipes. As for sportsmen involved in the world of motorsports, the unforgettable Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna has been immortalized, but especially local idol Valentino Rossi, wearing a Yamaha cap and race suit.
