Ducati has dedicated a YouTube miniseries to Bagnaia, the title is 'Dream On: Ducati and Bagnaia's Pursuit of Glory' and it chronicles the last 3 Grands Prix in 2024. Today the first episode (which you can see above) dedicated to the race in Thailand was released.
What makes this documentary interesting are the behind-the-scenes features, revealing what goes on in the pits and the team offices. Like the one on Saturday in Buriram, when, after getting the pole position, Pecco finished 3rd in the Sprint, behind Martin and Bastianini, who won.
After that race, team manager Davide Tardozzi had had a very direct confrontation with his rider: "Martin had the courage to give you the heave-ho, he had already decided to come and bother you and he did his duty. You can't always just be a gentleman because you're going to be shafted. You have to stop being too much of a gentleman or you'll be shafted."
After the 'telling off,' Pecco understood the situation well, "you have to be smart in every situation and I have to stop throwing away points like I did." He made up for it on Sunday, winning the wet GP, but even then there was a critical moment.
Before the start, in fact, Bagnaia had to decide which bike to use and the dialogue with his crew chief Cristian Gabarrini was decisive. Enjoy viewing.
