MotoGP, Pirro ready to pick up the baton from Iannone at Barcelona

MotoGP is preparing to head  to Barcelona for the final round of this season. Due to the floods that hit Valencia, causing more than 200 victims, Dorna has decided that the final round of the MotoGP will be held at Montmeló.

In the Pertamina VR46 team it is already time to choose who will replace Fabio Di Giannantonio, who was forced to abandon the scene due to his shoulder surgery. After Iannone replaced him in Sepang, in Catalonia it could be Michele Pirro's time.

The Ducati test rider, busy these days at Jerez with the development of the GP25, is expected to ride the GP23 of Valentino Rossi's team. The choice is up to the team, but having Michele present would be useful for gathering more data and making comparisons ahead of Tuesday's tests.

The decision will be made between today and tomorrow.
