News: Yamaha president Yoshihiro Hidaka stabbed by his daughter

Yamaha Motor President Yoshihiro Hidaka has been stabbed by his daughter. The attack occurred at the family home in Iwata, where the Japanese company is headquartered. Hana Hidaka allegedly wounded her father with a kitchen knife around 3 a.m. Monday.

It was Hana herself (who was arrested on charges of attempted murder) who called law enforcement, accusing her father of beating her. Police intervened by going to the home as early as Sunday afternoon, when the girl made another call claiming that she had been assaulted by her father.

Yoshihiro Hidaka suffered only injuries to his arm.
