Valentino Rossi and his father, Graziano, will be meeting in court, because Graziano's companion allegedly stole €200,000 from him. The story was brought to light by the Il Resto del Carlino newspaper, featuring the Doctor and his father.
It all began in 2024, when Valentino requested to be and was then appointed as his father's guardian. A medical report considered him to be a vulnerable person who was unable to look after himself. In March 2025, however, Graziano filed a civil lawsuit against his son to have him removed from his appointment. The judge in Pesaro ruled in Graziano's favor, arguing that he was fit to plead.
However, a new complaint was now filed by Valentino against Graziano's companion, who is accused of withdrawing €176,000 (including €100,000 as a loan) from his father's account, as well as another €34,000 in cash. The charge is exploitation of a vulnerable person.
The investigation is ongoing, and the decision will be reached by the public prosecutor in Pesaro, Irene Lilliu.
