MotoGP: Augusto Fernandez, one step away from Yamaha, but as a test rider

Pending official confirmation, it seems like Augusto Fernandez - who was left without a bike by the Tech 3 GASGAS team at the end of the season -  will be joining Yamaha as a test rider in place of Cal Crutchlow.

Augusto finished the Silverstone GP out of the points range, in 16th place, 37 seconds behind the winner, Enea Bastianini, and 20 behind his teammate, Pedro Acosta.
