After Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini also signed his contract that will allow him to continue riding a Ducati for the Mooney VR46 Racing Team also in 2023. It was certainly not a surprise. That the project was destined to continue with both Academy riders was more than obvious, but only today was a video published on the Team’s social media channels confirming that Luca will be continuing in his adventure, which undoubtedly began in the best was possible this season.
Luca is a mature rider, one of those who doesn’t jump the gun much, but who grows steadily and works very hard to improve. He reached two fourth places in the last two races, proving that he definitely deserves to be confirmed for next season, and the consensus in the paddock is that he can could further improve before the end of 2022, perhaps climbing onto that podium that he still hasn’t been on but which seems to be getting closer every time.
