"Surely having had a rival like Rossi gave even more luster to the times that I was able to beat him and on the other hand it also amplified his importance, because we were both Italians. But also the other rivals like Gibernau, Stoner, Lorenzo. With Vale a part of me retires and I'm sorry, of course I'm sorry".
