MotoGP: Emanuele Pirro and Franco Uncini: summit meeting in Misano

Michele Pirro, former F.1 driver and 5 times winner at Le Mans, 58 years old, and Franco Uncini, former world champion in the 500 class in 1982, 65 years old, will meet tomorrow at Misano.

The very titled couple, in addition to sharing their passion for cars and motorcycles in inverted roles - the Recanatian has ridden the Williams F.1 and it's not uncommon to see the Roman at the wheel of Ducati Supersport bikes - will see each other, however, not to share a track day, but their respective experiences.

Pirro is in fact Fia sports commissioner for F.1 and member of the Fia circuit commission, while Uncini is responsible for the safety of the FIM Grand Prix.

The two will probably share the enormous amount of experience accumulated to talk about the restart of their respective championships, sharing safety measures and protocols in this post-Covid-19 phase that will see the F.1 restart on July 5 at Red Bull Ring and the MotoGP on July 19 at Jerez.
