Jake Dixon won't be back on his Honda CBR1000RR-R for the fourth round of the Superbike World Championship, which will take place at Balaton Park on the weekend of May 1st–3rd.
Although he's progressing well, after fracturing his wrist during the pre-season tests at Phillip Island, and he's on the road to recovery—thanks, in part, to intensive physical therapy and daily hyperbaric chamber sessions he's undergoing—the British rider isn't yet ready to race again.
As announced by the Honda HRC team, Japanese rider Juki Kunii will replace him in Hungary. Currently competing in the JSB1000 class of the All Japan Road Racing Championship, where he races on a CBR1000RR-R, the 23-year-old rider—who previously competed in the Moto3 and Moto2 World Championships—will noe be making his World Superbike debut.
