SBK: All's quiet... or almost. Less than a month to go, where's Superbike headed?

Shortly before Christmas, news broke of the agreement between Sky and Dorna Sports regarding the renewal of TV rights. As we already know, MotoGP will remain with Sky for another two years, while there remains the issue of Superbike, which wasn't mentioned in the contract.

The reason was simple: compared to the previous agreement, signed four years earlier, MotoGP and Superbike were separate, so priority was given to MotoGP, with the issue of the production-based bikes to be addressed at a later date.

However, Superbike won't be missing from TV in 2026. According to our sources, Dorna Sports and Sky have reached a verbal agreement to extend the contract on a two-year basis.
