In about ten days the spotlight will be back on World Superbike, expected in Aragon for the first of the three final rounds of the season. A final rush that, after the late September stop at MotorLand, will bring the championship protagonists to compete in the second weekend of October at the Estoril track and a week later at Jerez, in the last Round of the year.

It is precisely on the Andalusian track that some of the World Championship teams have rendezvoused today and tomorrow for a final two days of testing; in which to sharpen their weapons and fine-tune the last details, in order to face this decisive sprint in the best possible way.

Therefore, the ROKiT BMW Motorrad team could not miss the roll call. Present with Michael van der Mark and reigning champion Toprak Razgatlioglu, current leader of the world championship standings with 39 points ahead of his direct opponent Nicolò Bulega. Absolute dominator of the last four events held, the Turkish rider does not want to leave anything to chance in this his last season among the production derived racing series, in which he aims to make his mark and extend his margin over the Ducati rider as early as Aragon. Among the manufacturers on track in Jerez we can also find Honda, which is fielding HRC team riders Xavi Vierge and Iker Lecuona, joined by test rider Tetsuta Nagashima. Bimota is not missing either, working with test rider Xavi Fores, who will also be joined tomorrow by the two official riders, Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani.

Instead, Sam Lowes and the Marc VDS team, the only Independent team in action, will take part only today. As well as the only representation of the Ducati troop in Jerez. In fact, the Borgo Panigale manufacturer will not participate in this two-day test in Andalusia. Kawasaki and Yamaha are also absent, with the latter not even taking part in the previous two-day test in Aragon.
