Giulio Nava set to leave Ducati for Locatelli and Yamaha

Bautista's current crew chief could join the Bergamo rider in the upcoming World SBK season. A change also for Alvaro in Barni

SBK: Giulio Nava set to leave Ducati for Locatelli and Yamaha

A transfer market exists for riders but not only them. This is the case of Giulio Nava, one of the most respected and highly rated engineers in the Superbike paddock. Starting in 2015 Giulio joined Alvaro Bautista in the box, winning two titles together in the production-based racing series.

Next year, however, Alvaro Bautista will start again at Barni and at his side he will have a new figure, namely Luca Minelli, who in recent years has followed Danilo Petrucci.

At the same time, there also seems to be something new on the horizon for Giulio Nava, whose adventure in Ducati is destined to come to an end. At the moment there is still nothing official, but according to what has been learned it seems that next year the engineer from Lombardy will arrive in Yamaha, flanking Andrea Locatelli.

This is also something new for the rider from Bergamo, who until now has worked with O'Kane after his previous adventure with Andrew Pitt. For Nava, the challenge in Yamaha promises to be a sort of return to the past after shared experiences with Haga and Spies.
