The last image we have of him on the track dates back to the Qatar GP that, however, ended with a nasty fall, which also involved Fabio Di Giannantonio. Then he had to stop.
Three months after that weekend to should be forgotten, Jorge Martin was back on the track today in Barcelona with the Aprilia RSV4, hoping he'll return to the MotoGP soon. In recent months, the rider from Spain has had to deal with a long ordeal, without forgetting the contractual situation that binds him to Noale. This is a topic of discussion for which Carmelo Ezpeleta also intervened in person.
Everyone was hoping to see Martin back on the RS-GP as early as the Sachsenring, but the doctors didn't give him the green light, because he's still healing. Jorge will, therefore, watch the German GP on TV, hoping to be in Brno the week that follows. If that' s not possible, he's going to have to wait until the Austrian GP in August.
Jorge did, however, progress today and got on his bike for the first time.
