Moto2: Unfit Alex Escrig replaced by Dani Muñoz in French GP

Alex Escrig's weekend at Le Mans ended two days early. The Klint Forward Factory Team rider was declared unfit after his violent highside in the last minutes of the Moto2 Pre-Qualification session and won't be able to continue the race weekend at the French Grand Prix.

In fact, the medical check-ups Escrig underwent found the presence of a hemothorax, which is fortunately not worrisome, but that will force the rider from Valencia to spend the night in the hospital for further exams, in order to monitor his condition.

In the meantime, the Forward team will rely on young Dani Muñoz, its FIM JuniorGP rider. The Andalusian will be joining the team as early as the upcoming scheduled sessions so the he can continue the work planned for this weekend at the Bugatti circuit.
