In Assen, Toprak Razgatlioglu and Axel Bassani will have three penalty positions on the Race 1 starting grid. Race Direction decided to penalize both the BMW rider and the Bimota rider for obstructing Nicolò Bulega at Turn 8 during this morning's Super Pole, ruining the flying lap of the Ducati rider, who came in 2nd at the end of the qualifying session.
It was a cold shower for Toprak and Axel, since they'll have to start from the 6th and 7th boxes on the grid in the race, scheduled for 2 p.m. local time Saturday afternoon.
