SBK, Gelete, son of Angel Nieto, is Andrea Iannone's new manager

It's a new challenge, you can be sure of that! After watching him race for years in 125cc and then becoming team manager in Moto2 for the MasterCamp team, Gelete Nieto now arrives in the production-based racing paddock.

In fact, the son of the great Angel and brother of Pablo Nieto will now start to look after Andrea Iannone's on-track interests, becoming his de facto manager. We saw him for the first time in Australia as well as last weekend alongside The Maniac in Portugal and he'll then follow him throughout the rest of the season on the track.

Obviously there will be no shortage of work for the Spanish manager as Iannone has renewed for one season only with Go Eleven, so as a result his contract is expiring at year end and a solution will be needed for 2026. Does he stay or look for a new bike elsewhere?

The future of the rider from Vasto is therefore now also in Gelete's hands.
