MotoGP, Marc jokes with Alex Marquez: "Do you want me to play mind games with you?"

"I think you're the favorite at the moment. You did more laps in the Sunday Grand Prix," the 32-year-old laughingly told his brother, who made him struggle more than expected in Argentina.

MotoGP: Marc jokes with Alex Marquez:

The struggle between the Marquez brothers, Marc and Alex, was constant the first two rounds of the 2025 MotoGP races, and the Argentine GP was no exception, where the younger of the two came closer than ever to getting the better of the official Ducati team rider. But the duel didn't, in the least, change the wonderful mood between the two Marquez brothers and their respective teams at the start of this season, as we can see from the photos and also from how they joked around on the episode of "Unseen" on MotoGP.com, which shows how the two brothers celebrated at the end of the South American race.

The video begins in the parc ferme with Michele Masini. "We're always making things harder for you, huh?" the Gresini team's sports director said, intent on joking with his former rider. "It was harder this time," Marc admitted, and then he responded to Alex's crew chief, Donatello Giovanotti, who jokingly said: "We saw a chicken," before bursting out laughing with the team, as he imitated a chicken walking.

And, between jokes and banter, the winner talked about his race: "I wanted to push, but I made a mistake, and I couldn't pass him. I couldn't. The only point was turn five because, at turn three, it was an airplane." This didn't entirely convince Giovanotti, who replied: "You didn't overtake him because you said, 'I save the tires by staying behind'."

The 32-year-old took another win, but Alex knows he isn't far behind. "When he's at the limit, he's very at ease. We're fighting against the Beast, and we're close," he said, receiving in response from Giovanotti: "We have to wait for the Beast to fall asleep."

After they left the parc ferme, the two brothers took a photo together, which became symbolic of the race: Marc grabbed Alex by the neck, after saying to him: "Come here, you made me sweat today!" Just like two children playing around, the two Marquez brothers seem to have turned the MotoGP circuits into their own personal playground.

"It's all in the family," Marc said, in a friendly repartee with Alex, who replied:"Rivals? When a rider wins four out of four ..." The Ducati factory rider then pressed him: "Do you want me to play mind games with you?" And, after having received an "I don't care" as an answer, he said: "I think you're the favorite at the moment. You did more laps in the lead during the Sunday Grand Prix." He then bursted out laughing, hugging the Team Gresini rider, who ended by telling him, "You're a bastard!"

Finally, they had their last moment of fun before the shared celebration kicks off, to the notes of Queen's We Will Rock You: let the curtain fall on what has been another great all-family fight.
