Team Gresini has announced its Moto2 team for next season. Nadia Padovani's team has confirmed Albert Arenas, while Darryn Binder will arrive alongside him.
Taking stock of the situation is team manager Luca Gresini: “We decided to confirm Albert Arenas because we believe that his talent is much higher than what he’s shown so far in Moto2 – which is a really competitive class. We’re sure his experience will make the difference, hence the contract renewal for 2025. We then chose to bet on Darryn Binder, who since he has already raced in MotoGP, has developed the right awareness that will allow him to do well also in Moto2. He has endured two challenging seasons, also due to injury. We’re confident he’ll feel at home with us, as we’re aiming at bringing him to the positions that are more in line with his talent.”
New arrival Binder is ready for the challenge: “I’m really thankful for the opportunity to be racing with Gresini Racing next year, I’m really looking forward to it. I feel like I’m starting to make progress and hope to carry the momentum to towards the end of the season. Then the goal is to keep improving throughout 2025 and hopefully to battle for great results. I can’t wait for the new season to start!”
Arenas is determined to achieve important results, “I’m very happy to continue with team Gresini Racing also in 2025. This year we’ve had some positive moments so far, even though there have been challenges, so I’m confident regarding the team’s potential. The goal is to keep growing and to battle for top results, and I’m aware that we can achieve these goals together.”
