Toprak Razgatlioglu was discharged this morning from Moulins Hospital and later arrived at the circuit in Magny-Cours together with Kenan Sofuoglu. The former rider spent some time together with him on Friday evening and today he devoted a few minutes to us to explain the situation of the BMW rider.
The Turkish manager spoke clearly and transparently about the situation, putting paid to any doubts regarding Toprak's recovery.
"As you all saw from the images, Toprak's was a terrible incident," he told us , "fortunately nothing serious happened and that is the most important thing because he took a big risk."
Kenan, what is Toprak's condition?
"Yesterday I saw him very sore in the Hospital, but today he is better and that is the most important thing. Here in Magny-Cours he won't race, but it's not a problem, because at the end of the day this is racing and injuries are part of our sport and part of the game."
Do you think we will see him again in Cremona?
"He will be there at 100 percent in Cremona to continue fighting for the World Championship. On Sunday we will return home where he will follow therapy as the doctors have told him. I don't think there will be any problems with his presence at the race scheduled in Italy in two weeks, and I am convinced of that."
